Whisky Magazine Japan

I’m a bit obsessed by glass shapes. I love Riedel’s varietal-specific wine glasses, but I wondered why they had 140 shapes for wine, and only one for whisky. After all, there’s plenty of difference between an Ardbeg and an Auchentoshan. So I sat with the distillers from Springbank and Kilchoman, and the president of Riedel Japan, and we tried lots of whiskies with lots of glasses.

No need to read the whole article. It’s in Japanese anyway. The Riedel Cognac XO glass turned out to be the best. The chianti glass was a surprise runner up.
